Award Home Inspections is a commercial and residential property inspection company in the Richmond-metro area. When Joe Gershowitz founded the company over a decade ago, he wanted something different. He envisioned combining the latest technology with a team of home inspectors who were trained in the construction trades. They would have the knowledge and background to understand a property and make sound recommendations. That was 8,000 inspections ago.
Joe has spent 15 years as a licensed electrician and in the construction industry. When conducting a home inspection, he speaks from experience.
Award Home Inspections has a team of qualified lead inspectors that are also licensed electricians. All inspectors are licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia. They understand residential and commercial inspections and work hard to make sure any imperfections or flaws within a property are documented.
Award Home Inspections is also one of the few home inspection companies in the region with a certified radon inspector. April Leslie, Richmond’s Radon Girl, uses state-of-the-art technology to identify radon levels inside a home or business and advises the buyers, seller or owner on how to move forward if elevated are levels are detected.
